http://pr.cannazine.co.uk (http://pr.cannazine.co.uk) : A cannabis campaigning group from the United States has announced cannabis can 'significantly' reduce the instance of head and neck cancers. And whilst the scientific evidence has been 'in' for decades, today, Deputy Director of NORML Paul Armantano is wondering when the press are going to tell the people who buy their newspapers about it. Indeed, will the mainstream media even care?Afghani#1 from Sensi SeedsFor some 35 years the United States federal government has been well aware that cannabis possesses potent anti-cancer and anti-tumor properties. And for the past three years, government-funded researchers have speculated that these qualities may offer “protective” effects against the onset of various types of cancer in humans, including lung cancer.Yet to date, virtually no investigators have taken the time to assess marijuana’s potential anti-cancer effects in humans — until now.

But on August 9th 2009 the park will play host to a group of people who are advocating an entirely different type of plant. The much maligned cannabis plant. The stunning Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham - viewed from the tea roomsAccording to Legalise Cannabis Alliance (http://lca-uk.org) member and event organiser Colin Preece who resides in the city, the event will be little more than A peaceful gathering of people committed to the healing of all nations. But in reality the event holds a far deeper significance in todays turbulent political climate. Especially so when you take into account the recent revelations in the news which go on to explain even at the very top of law enforcement in the UK, there now exists grave doubts as to the effectiveness of operating a nations drug policies based around prohibition and law enforcement.

http://pr.cannazine.co.uk (http://pr.cannazine.co.uk) : A Facebook group which is aimed at answering questions regarding Cephalon's Provigil/Modafinil anti-narcolepsy drug is proving popular with consumers who have been prescribed other stimulants such as Ritalin, but who would prefer to use Provigil/Modafinil. A drug which has a far more benign effect on the human dopamine receptors.Provigil is thought to be the safer optionRitalin is a heavily prescribed (and even more heavily abused) amphetamine based drug normally prescribed in the treatment of ADD/ADHD amongst a great many others. And whilst I'm no doctor or pharmacist, I have read a great deal into the workings of how it affects the human body, and how it works has no resemblence at all, to how Provigil works.
