The UK music festival 2010 season is well underway, and there are many who would be forgiven for thinking it only involves the larger, more famous events. Protect yourself and those you love, with hemp-stuff.co.uk (http://hemp-stuff.co.uk) Like Glastonbury (http://www.glastonburyfest.org/) (featuring 'U2-replacements' The Gorillaz, Muse, Stevie Wonder), The Download Festival at Donington (http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/lineup/index.aspx) (AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine, Motorhead), the Isle of Wight festival (http://www.isleofwightfestival.com/default.aspx), (Jay-Z, Paul McCartney, Florence and the Machine, Pink and The Strokes) and The Eden Sessions, (Jack Johnson, Mika, Paulo Nutini). But in actual fact this is only the tip of the iceberg for what promises to be one of the most 'jumpin' summer seasons for some time.

The Legalise Cannabis Alliance is opening a 'branch' in South Wales with the aim of lobbying the Welsh Assembly to sit up and take notice of the benefits behind the propoganda.http://www.lca-uk.org/ (http://www.lca-uk.org/) The Legalise Cannabis Alliance was founded in 1999, originally as a political party that fought in over 70 elections in the UK on the issue of cannabis legalisation. But that was in the shadow of the Conservative driven Just say no era, when some of the more noteable side-effects of cannabis affected those who had never used it.
On May 19th 2010, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg announced what has been dubbed 'The Great Repeal Bill' with this promise: And as we tear through the statute book, we'll do something no government ever has: We will ask you which laws you think should go. Political lobbying citizen style on Facebook - join us!We believe that included in any Great Repeal Bill should be an order for an IMMEDIATE Impact Assessment of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, which has done more damage to otherwise law abiding Britons, than any other law since it was passed.

The new governmental coalition between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats has been put into words and published on a Home Office website (http://programmeforgovernment.hmg.gov.uk) . Interestingly, it doesn't mention cannabis. Lobbying pressure is likely to be strong from well connected, web savvy online cannabis community members
In August 2009, practicing eye specialist Rand Paul officially announced his candidacy for the United States Senate seat currently held by retiring Senator Jim Bunning in the conservative stronghold of Kentucky. On May 18, 2010, in the Republican primary, Rand Paul defeated Trey Grayson, the Kentucky Secretary of State, on a ticket which, much like his father Congressman Ron Paul before him, advocates the use of medical cannabis.Kentucky Senator Rand PaulLike father like sonWhen Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul ran in the last US elections he was seen as something of an unknown entity. Especially outside of the US. That is, until he broke a record for raising funds in a single day, with an all up total of $6 million dollars raised in 24 hours. Most of which was raised online. The area’s most affected are those were the insurgency against NATO is strongest.Fresh-speared poppy heads ooze pure opium, which Afghani farmers have sold for centuries. But NATO is determined to cease the trade. Seemingly, at all cost..
